Terms of use

Last updated: October 17, 2026.

  1. Who we are. Share Check is a service of WebHatch Designs ("we"), Hutchinson, Kansas, offered under the TaskToxica name. Contact: hello@webhatchdesigns.com, or reply to any email from us.
  2. What Share Check does. It looks for secrets with a recognizable shape (such as API keys, tokens and private keys) in text you send, and reports what it found. A result of "no findings" means it did not find a known secret pattern in what it scanned. It does not mean the text contains no secrets. Some secrets cannot be recognized, and some matches are not secrets. You decide what to share; Share Check only helps you look.
  3. Your account and key. One account per person or team, with a verified email. Your API key is shown once. Keep it private; anyone with it can use your credits. You can revoke it and make a new one. You are responsible for what is done with your key, including by AI agents you give it to. Limits you set on a key apply to every use of it.
  4. Acceptable use. Check only text you have the right to share with us. Do not use Share Check to look through text you obtained without permission, such as leaked or stolen data. Do not try to break, overload or get around the service's limits. We may suspend a key or account used this way.
  5. Credits and payment. One check uses one credit. Your first 25 checks are free. Credits are bought in packs through Stripe Checkout, and a person must complete the payment. Credits do not expire. Checks that come back "not scanned", and errors, are not charged. Prices are shown on the site and may change for future purchases; credits you already bought keep their value.
  6. Refunds. Unused credits are refunded on request within 14 days of purchase. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits from it are removed.
  7. Availability. We work to keep Share Check running, but it can be unavailable. When it is, nothing is checked and nothing is charged.
  8. No warranty, and a limit on liability. Share Check is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for secrets it did not find, for matches that are not secrets, or for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  9. Changes and ending. We may change these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continued use means you accept the new terms. You can close your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks point 4.
  10. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
